As someone who is new to therapy, one of the first things my therapist recommended was journaling. I am not usually the type of person who can journal off the top of their head. These prompts help me dig deep into things I wouldn’t typically think about or know about myself. They distract me from negative and stressful thoughts at the end of each day. I strongly recommend joining CW Journal Club if you suffer from anxiety or if you are looking for tools on your path to self-discovery and healing.
